Why we built Frondel

Most content management systems were designed to run one big site very well. Agencies do the opposite: they run many small sites, and each one only needs a handful of pages, a blog and a contact form.

The maintenance tax

On a general-purpose CMS, every one of those small sites carries the weight of a large one: plugins to update, a theme to keep compatible, a security surface to watch. Multiply that by twenty clients and a real part of your month is spent on work no client ever sees or pays for.

A different trade

Frondel takes the opposite bet. A site stays plain HTML — one of our ready structures, or your own imported design. Frondel adds the holes where the content goes, and a single back-office to fill them across every site you run.

You lose the enormous plugin ecosystem. You gain sites that do not need you on a Tuesday morning.
